I have been know to pass on news that I find offensive or relates to me somehow someway.....But this one takes the cake.......How could they (the manufactor) do that to our impressionable children....Are they absolutely insane........I hope that the person who is trying to get this stuff banned in oklahoma can and will succeed.........I know not everyone shares my opinions on this but to me its just asking for trouble.......I can just imagine one of my kids saying they drank cocaine and then someone offering them cocaine for reals............UGH............AS if as a parent we don't have enough on our plates when it comes to raising our children right........

Alyssa

We had Alyssa's IEP meeting today......She is doing wonderful in school.....She has 5 A's and a B........They are very pleased with her progress as well as I am.......They are trying to dc her ot services and said that her teacher doesn't have any concerns at this time.......According to the teacher they never talked to her.......UGH.........I just got a phone call from her therapist who is fixing to meet with her to find out what is going on.....

she has been complaining of a sore throat since last night and wouldn't you know it she shared it with her momma, UGH.....I got a call from the school earlier saying that she was complaining that her throat hurt again and was crying.......I asked them to give her some motrin and to let me know if it worked.....I haven't heard back but I called to check on her and they won't transfer me to the teacher hopefully she is doing better.......If she isn't any better tomorrow morning she is staying home......I will deal with the aftermath.......She is trying to not miss a day of school because they reward the kids with a movie every month for perfect attendance.............She has been doing awesome.........I have noticed as long as she has a goal she seems to do really well with achieveing it.........She has a goal right now to get all As and she is pretty darn close to achieveing that goal..........HUM now to find something to reward those good grades........Had to run and pick her up from school........She looks worse now then she did this morning........And she is awfully quiet, right now she is making herself a cup of tea to help with her throat.....kids, kids, kids

Joshua's first birthday party

Joshua had his first birthday party today.........He was invited to the skating rink by one of his classmates who turned 5........It was awesome and Joshua loved it.......I'm sorry the quality of the video isn't good but I used my cell phone to record it.....I also added some pics of a little girl who he seems to be joined at the hip with.....

Me

a me post, LOL..........We haven't had one of those yet.........but why do women suffer from insomina when they are in the 3rd trimester.........I am uncomfortable......It doesn't help that I have another cold......My head fills like it is full.........(thanks sherri, guess I didn't realize it was that bad yet) I have taken benedryl but the effects of it are sleepiness........OK so I need that........I'm also having bh's but they seem to be less and less......#1 I increased fluids, thought that maybe I was getting myself to dehydrated and well I don't think that is the cause anymore #2 I started taking benedryl on a friend's recommendation (she has had numerous early deliveries and lots of kids to boot, LOVE Ya) and #3 I went and bought the mag citrate(spl) that she also recommended for it but with the benedryl slowing them down and me increasing my fluids, I haven't started taking them yet......but have them if I need to......Now I need to buy some tylenol cold and sinus nighttime so I can get some sleep......UGH maybe I should go to bed and lay down and toss and turn and keep Kent awake.......Oh wait nothing can keep him awake even our 3 rowdy kids running through the house with me hollaring at them..........

Did anyone see wifeswap tonight.......I usually don't watch the show but since channel 6 did their complete swap to digital tv we are having a hard time getting a signal on the digital box.........This lady on there had 9 kids.......Her house seemed to run so smooth.....Quiet, not rowdy and the kids helped around the house without an issue of it........Now seriously can it be that quiet.......I have 3 at home and at times it seems the noise is deafening.........but then again when they are asleep the quietness is deafening even with the tv or the radio on......

Baby boy names

We have finally settled on a name or at least we have for the time being........His name will be Jace Andrew Lane Loving.......I'm excited to say the least........Finally something is prepared for him.......nothing else is.......Its not like we don't have a bassinet, crib, swings, carseat (though mommy wants a new one) clothes.......I don't feel like rearranging my room to set up the bassinet in there (I need to) guess the more kids you have the less you feel that you need to prepare for them....

The colds have found their way back into the house.......I'm sick again as well as Austin has a runny nose......UGH.....its not as if I didn't get really sick and put in the hospital in december........There is nothing I can really take........I have taken some benedryl but we all know benedryl makes you tired so I try not to take it unless absolutely needed.......

Alyssa

Has a sensory processing disorder.........Normally this is not a problem and the teachers all work around it.........However today I got a phone call from the school because Alyssa wouldn't do her work and when talked to by the assistant principal........she had a major meltdown.......hence the mood stablizer she is on doesn't appear to be working, doesn't appear to be causing any issues either though.......But the teachers are not recognizing the signs of an impending meltdown or an overload.......To remove her from the situation before it happens......UGH......Why can they not read her IEP and implement it.......Alyssa does not know her limits, we are working on them........Is it to much to ask that 3/4 of the way through the school year that they know what can set her off, what triggers it and how to prevent them from happening...........I did go and meet with her and the principal...........Got her settled down.......Left her at school to finish out the day.........Now she is getting herself into trouble at home to because she has had so much overload today........UGH.......WHY can't they prevent it.......

Having issues with the isp so I had better get off of here and quit blogging while I still have a chance to post it....LOL

Tuesday

Even though I am posting wednesday morning.......I am offically in my 3rd trimester.......My feet are starting to swell.....I'm trying to stay off of them as much as possible but with 3 kids at home, a dh who had surgery almost 2 wks ago and is suffering from cellulitis its nearly impossible......I need to clean house tomorrow and do some laundry.......I had it mostly caught up over the weekend that was until Alyssa decided she was going to bring her dirty laundry out of her room........Hahaha I bet half of it isn't even dirty..........She irratates me to no get end about that....I can't seem to get her to do anything with her room, I have tried taking away her tv, her bike, threatening to burn it (we are under a burn ban, so can't) bag it up and haul it off nothing seems to phase her......Shoot I can't get her to do anything to help me out in the rest of the house either.....I need to tackle the boys room sometime this week while Joshua is at school and go through the toy boxes and get rid of a bunch of toys that he doesn't play with nor Austin and make a trip to the giveaway place before he gets home from school.......Wish me luck........I am going to start a to do list on here or what some might call a housework game, maybe it will get me caught up enough that staying caught up won't be so much of a hassle........
