Easter and actually one of all 5 of them togather

We celebrated 2 birthdays this month.  Jace who turned 1 (wow how time has flown) and Austin who turned 4.......

We are alive

These days life with 5 kids, two of them being infants........its crazy........but I'm about to upload a picture overload of what has been going on over the last months since ChiAnne came home from the NICU..........She came home after 22 days.....And has everyone wrapped around her little pinky...Joshua cracks me up.......He will be playing and she will start crying, he comes running........"momma, ChiAnne is crying" yes Joshua momma can hear her.........He tries to comfort her and pick her up.....he loves holding her if she is quiet but forget it if she starts crying........Jace is still not walking but I seriously do not expect him to.....He was a 6 wk preemie, he shouldn't be walking plus he is the baby of the family, sort of speak.......His brothers and sister carry him.........I figure he will be a late walker like Austin was...........Joshua is a handful......He got suspended from school for 2 days, could have actually been 3 but his principal didn't want him missing the end of the year field trip so he is allowing him to come back after 2..........the cause of the suspension was him throwing rocks.........apparently this is not the first time but this time some little boy got hurt who was an innocent bystander and ended up having to have stitches in his head.......I agree with the statement that the punishment fits the crime.........Joshua was very upset that it had happened and was actually crying when I got there, not because he was in trouble but because the little boy got hurt.......he says "I told him I was sorry, I didn't mean to do it".......Turns out he wasn't the only one throwing rocks and the other little boy got in trouble as well......Austin.........Austin is going to be the death of me one day, I swear........My darling son who just turned 4 yrs old decided he was going to drive........I had to take Alyssa to the dr one morning and I had taken Austin with us because I had an appt for him to enroll him in school.....But I had gotten done early and Darling Alyssa had forgotten her books so back to the house we went..........I shut off the suburban, took the keys out of the ignition and threw on the passenger seat.........Ran in the house.......Austin and Alyssa both getting out with me.........I didn't think anything of it........I had to take ChiAnne with me for some reason, anyways I come outside to put ChiAnne in the suburban and its at the end of the driveway.........I busted his butt, told him he can't drive til he is 30 and went to get the suburban.......Kent yelled at me and said why did you park out there........I didn't park out there silly, Austin moved it...........Holy cow........He knew how to start the burban, knew that he had to apply the brake to shift the shifter in reverse and then he managed some how by the grace of God to apply the brake, put it back in park, shut it off and throw the keys back in the seat..........and come back in the house as if nothing happened.......Alyssa is Alyssa.........

Day 2 of our Nicu stay

And ChiAnne is doing awesome.  She is still on the nasal canula but is down to room air, which is 21% and only at 2 liters, there is talk of taking her off the high pressured canula and moving her down.  She also nippled 2 of her feeds.  Its only 10 mls each feeding but they will slowly increase it.  She will get to come home when she is constantly eating 60 mls each feeding. 

Kent and the kids came up and seen me today, they brought along her headbands that I bought for her.  One of them is enormous on her the others fit her just perfect.  Tomorrow is her first valentines day.  I have a onesies that has hearts all over it and a headband to match that has hearts on it.  I have pictures of her headbands but forgot to get Kent to send them to me off of his phone.

We also met with the dr today, he was who admitted her.  He said to take my due date and minus about 2 wks.  Um not that I don't believe him but that would put her here longer than Jace was.  And she is doing so much better than Jace did.  I think she will be home next week sometime.  However momma could always be wrong.  And as we well learned with Jace this is a rollar coaster ride that we can't always get off of.

Welcome ChiAnne Renee Rose

Introducing ChiAnne Renee Rose Loving..........She was born Feburary 11th at 9:39 pm weighing in at 6lbs 4oz and is 18 1/2 inches long.........She was delivered early because I went into labor on my own *yikes*.......She is just beautiful and has a head full of dark, curly hair........that is longer than Jace's.........She is in the NICU as she was having issues with breathing and is on O2 but has been weaned down considerably......Hopefully she won't be in there very long as she is doing awesome.......

Life gets hectic

I promise we are all still alive and kicking around here.........lets see where do I begin.......

We had another ice storm/snow storm a couple of weeks ago and it turned out to be a dud...........We got more on christmas eve then we did then......

Alyssa is being Alyssa, behavior issues and all but we haven't had any phone calls rectly from the school....Her principal even offered to help me argue with her dr to get her treated right....

Joshua has lost his second tooth..........he only tripped when he lost the tooth and it bled a little, ok so a whole lot........but once it settled down he was actually quite excited that it came out........

Austin is still trying patients and trying to get away with everything........Seriously thou the term horrific threes fit him to a "t".......Momma is counting down the days until he can go to school and give me a minute or two to recharge my batteries........

Jace will have surgery on thursday the 11th, not sure what time yet but he needs tubes.........As of right now he has no hearing in either ear but they are hoping that it is fixable with the tubes to help drain the fluid that is behind his ear drums.........He is really getting up and going now.......He has figured out how to pull up on the side of the pac n play.......and today he pulled up on the couch......he hasn't done any cruising that I know of but it is only a matter of time.....its hard to believe that in just a few days he will be 10 mths old..........

ChiAnne will be here in as little as 9 days unless something changes, I have my next appt on tuesday....So yea it can be crazy around here...........

Kent is doing ok, they did diagnose him with COPD, thankfully its mild right now...........they also completed all the testing that they were asking for as far as sleep apnea and it came back as he needed a cpap so now we are waiting on that to come in, for some reason they mailed it.......

Ok, I think I have caught everything up, now I need to post pics but that will have to wait until I catch my breath sometime this week, LOL.........

Meet Tera, she is 3mths old and is a wolf/shepard mix.......Also the snow man that the kids built out of our foot of snow of course most of the snow is gone now but they enjoyed it while it was here......And Jace's first taste of cherrios, he loves them....
