Time flies

When you have a newborn in the house.........Actually he isn't much of a newborn anymore.......he turned a month old on the 13th........I took him to the dr last week and he is doing awesome.........He weighs 7lbs 8oz and is 19 1/2 inches long.......But Jace looks so little yet.......He doesnt' sleep much......He more cat naps then anything........I try to sleep when he sleeps, I manage to get the dishwasher loaded maybe once every other day........Kent is a big help when it comes to cooking supper........I thank god everyday that I met and fell in love with a man who can cook and loves to.........Thou sometimes he may drive me insane with I don't know what to fix.........Or his other favorite saying is "You can go in there and throw it all togather and have an awesome dinner"...........He cracks me up at times.........But I have to brag on him today..........He cleaned the living room, he even swept it and straightened up the baskets of laundry that I need to fold and will fold tomorrow........I also need to go pick up a dresser that a friend of mine gave me.........Jace needs one for all his clothes..........I bought him a couple packs of oneies as all of the 0-3 mths clothes I have won't fit him, they fall off........The newborn however fit him perfectly and leave growing room to boot........None of the sleepers I have fit him so I had to buy him some of those as well.......My other boys were 9lbs 12oz and 9lbs 0.6 oz, they were well on their way into 3-6mths by the time they arrived, LOL.........I am still trying to find him an outfit for pics.....but I have been snapping pics away on my camera.....

The other kids are adjusting to him being home wonderfully.........They all want to hold him........Alyssa really wants to help with him.........she wants to do everything with him..............

I had an IEP meeting with Alyssa's special ed teacher for placement next year.........They said she has progressed well enough that she is going to be mainstreamed full time.........She has caught up with her class on reading..........However I worry that they are just setting her up for failure..............And then we have to deal with the meltdown that will follow by her feeling overwhelmed..........They said that they are keeping her IEP for behavior and that she still will be able to have the resources of the special ed room as well as another room and that her IEP will include the advantages of being able to leave the room when she is overwhelmed.........For some reason this has not set well with me and I have worried about it since I found out........Its hard to believe that she is going to be in the 4th grade next year..............

Joshua is doing well to............He was so funny when Jace came home from the hospital...........He kept saying "his ears are so little", "his feet are so small" oh how true it is............But he had to inspect him all over just like a doting mom or dad, it was so funny to see him do it............He is the proud big brother and man I can't wait to see what a father he will be when he gets older...........He hears Jace cry and he will come running............Screamin all the way "Mom, Jace is crying"................Mom come see whats the matter with Jace, he is crying...............hehehehe...........he is so funny..............He had a feild trip to tulsa last week where he dressed up as a pirate...........He is still toting around the hankie that the school bought for the kids.........Then yesterday he had an end of the year program........The whole pre-k class wore brown shirts that said "ok kid" and straw cowboy hats along with bandanas of different colors......It was awesome..........they were so cute..........

Austin is just getting as big as ever.........I noticed today his face is really filling out.........which means he is fixing to shoot up in height again..........its still hard to believe that he is 3.......His speech has cleared up even though I still have a hard time understanding him at times.........I have to make him slow down and speak looking right at me.........He loves his little brother...........he is all the time giving him kisses on the head........Trying to help with him.......Giving him his binkie, getting a diaper............And when he cries, he goes over to the bassinet or pac n play and will say ssssssshhhhhhhhh............Today when Jace was really fussy he was singing "You are my sunshine" it was absolutely hillarious...........He was trying to get Jace to calm down.........He is a comedian.........
